Abstract:  In this talk, I'll discuss the incompressible Navier-Stokes-Fourier limit and acoustic limit from the Boltzmann equation in the class of classical solutions by expanding solutions to the Boltzmann equation. In addition, the diffusive expansion of the Vlasov-Maxwell-Boltzmann system will be presented and the global-in-time validity will be established via the nonlinear uniform energy method.
